Welcome to the Talking Sense e-Clinics platform

The Talking Sense e-Clinics platform is available for people who have been referred for clinical treatment. It enables you to speak online to an NHS mental health specialist who will provide a care package fully suited to your needs.

Talking Sense was developed by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) to increase access to health care, treatment, advice and support, Talking Sense is a form of ‘tele-health care’ where treatments and consultations can be provided using technology.

Using Talking Sense is:

  • Safe – Talking Sense has been designed and built by the NHS ensuring that it meets the highest standards of data protection and governance.
  • Effective – All treatment and advice provided by Talking Sense is evidence based and recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence.
  • Accessible – Talking Sense enables patients to access therapy or treatment at the click of a button from any computer or device with internet access. Choosing from chat (like instant messenger), audio (like the telephone) or face-to-face (via a camera), therapy and health care consultations are more convenient. Appointments can take place from home or the workplace so attending appointments has never been easier.

Our well trained and skilled staff are here to help and to make accessing services convenient and easy. For people with busy lives, those who live in rural areas or for those who find attending appointments difficult – Talking Sense makes sense.
